2015 Postcards – Amsterdam’s Old Town

The 2015 fifth annual HAL series of six Amsterdam postcards includes four antique reprints – three street views of the “Old Town” area of East Main, Market, and Division Streets and a view of the 1810 Globe Hotel/1839 Amsterdam Academy on Chuctanunda Street, and two antique photo postcards from original John Arthur Maney photographs of Market Street, views to both the north and south from Division Street circa 1900 showing the activity of the day, courtesy of the Montgomery County Dept. of History & Archives.
